“Why do you write these strong women characters?” Because equality is not a concept. It’s not something we should be striving for. It’s a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it. We need equality. Kinda now.

debating whether or not to wear my buffy costume to school…
I mean, nobody’s going to know who I am, and I can’t bring my stake because it’s a weapon and all that. And without any kind of vampire killing equipment I’m basically just dressed as a girl from the 90’s. I just don’t really feel like getting questioned all day long. Thoughts?
wear it, wear a cross for a vampire killing weapon (or carry a bottle of water marked “Holy Water”), and fuck em if they can’t handle it.
